Welcome to Dappleberry Yarns. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

About Dappleberry Yarns

Dappleberry Yarns is a sole trader business based in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia.

Every product is individually handmade by Tammy using carefully selected fibres and traditional fibre arts techniques. Because each item is handcrafted, every piece is unique.

Dappleberry Yarns offers handmade products including, but not limited to:

Handspun yarn
Hand-dyed yarn
Naturally coloured yarn
Fibre and fleece
Leicester locks
Stitch markers
Handmade buttons
Hand-knitted socks
Other handmade fibre craft products

Unless otherwise stated, you will receive the exact item pictured on the website.

Custom orders are not currently available.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Payment is accepted by:

Visa
Mastercard
Google Pay

Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully received.

Order Acceptance

Dappleberry Yarns reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

An item has been accidentally oversold.
A pricing error has occurred.
A product becomes unavailable.
Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued.

Shipping

Dappleberry Yarns currently ships within Australia only.

Orders are dispatched via Australia Post within 1–3 business days whenever possible.

Tracking information is provided with every parcel.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to circumstances outside our control.

If your parcel is lost or damaged during transit, please contact Dappleberry Yarns as soon as possible. We will work with Australia Post to investigate the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.

Returns and Refunds

We happily accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of you receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused.
It must be returned in its original condition.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

If a product does not meet the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to the remedies available under the law. Depending on the nature of the problem, this may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Handmade Products

Every Dappleberry Yarns product is individually handmade.

Natural variations in colour, texture, thickness, twist, and finish are an expected part of handmade craftsmanship and are not considered faults. These variations are what make every piece unique.

Product photographs are taken to represent colours as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on individual monitor and device settings.

Yarn Care

To help your handmade items last for many years:

Hand wash in cool water.
Use a gentle wool wash if required.
Do not wring.
Dry flat in the shade.
Do not tumble dry.

Following these care instructions will help preserve the beauty of your handmade yarn.

Intellectual Property

All photographs, logos, artwork, product descriptions, text, graphics and branding displayed on this website remain the property of Dappleberry Yarns unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission.

Privacy

Any personal information collected through this website will be handled in accordance with the Dappleberry Yarns Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, Dappleberry Yarns is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the normal use of products purchased through this website.
